Maybe just the black paint has rubbed/washed off of the brass top tank...?

The steering wheel should be on a chain and worn around Mr. T's neck.

I also thought it odd that it has a 351 Cleveland, that's not a common engine anymore.

it says it has a 5.0 in it not a cleveland if im not mistaken... they might have changed it since you said something

My guess is that truck drove through Oreillys with a crap magnet. I'm surprised it doesn't have the stickon Cadillac vents on each side.
