I'm looking for a set of clearance lights, like on the newer super duty's. The only ones I can seem to find online are the huge tear drop ones, which I don't like much.
I'd rather buy a set then go to the boneyard and take them off. Anyone know where I can find these?
I don't think it's worht tryong to take them off and repait the holes. JC WHitney sells a few different styles of clearance lights - maybe both of you ought to look there?
I agree, the new styles of clearance lights don't have any soul to them.
I remember some old 1970's Fords that had nice chromed bullet lights up there.
I was looking on this old 70's f-250 in the Arby's parking lot today, they were tear drop with a chrome/silver plating and looked nice. All I can seem to find are reeaaaaly big teardrops. But the ones at JC Whitney look like the one of the f-250 I saw today I might look at buying those. Thanks
I have a "72 F-250 w/factory lights and they had started to fade and look ugly. I happened to find a set at K-Mart that matched exactly and were about $14.00.
