What gasket do I need?
I need the hpop reservoir gasket, the one that seals the bottom of the res to the front cover. Its a late 99 front cover, the gasket is black with NO screen. Anyone have a Ford part number?

Get one from Bob. HPOP Reservoir Gasket 1996 to early 1999
I believe this is the correct Ford part number. Engine serial number 201680 up to 98.5; full gasket, no RTV F6TZ-6619-AA Maybe someone else can verify it.

That is what it looks like, thanks for the part number. Odd how that gasket is for 96 to early 99, mine is a late 99 but it uses that gasket.

There is a warning notice on Bob's website about using the correct gasket. It is more important to use the correct one by comparison than by application.

Not odd at all, the reservoir gasket with screen wasn't part of the 99.5 upgrade package....it appeared independently at a later date.

Good to know, I got the same gasket that I removed at the Ford dealer today. Of course the two closest dealers didn't have it,so I had to drive to the third closest, oh well, just glad I got it.
