I am not quite sure what your are talking about, maybe someone else will be. If you're wondering if your HPOP is working properly, it is typically checked by making sure the IPR and ICP sensor are working.
If your truck is not starting and you suspect it is HPOP related, the first thing you should do is make sure your IPR tinnerman nut, spacer, and coil are all on the IPR, and the nut tight. Also, remove the plug on top of the HPOP reservoir (takes an Allen wrench) and look inside to make sure there is oil in the HPOP reservoir. DON'T FORGET TO REPLACE THE PLUG before attempting to crank the engine (you will make a mess).
If that's all good, then unplug your ICP sensor and try to crank. If your truck starts up right away, then it is likely the ICP sensor has gone bad. If there is a lot of oil coming out of the sensor when you unplug the electrical connector, that's a good hint too. If the truck does NOT start, then it may be your IPR needing to be removed and cleaned out (they rarely go bad).
If you give us a better idea of the problem you are trying to solve, we can help you better.
