Finally two people who know what they are talking about. I saw the painless one but the price is outrageous. Im thinking about relocating it to under the hood.
I have a spare fuse block from a jeep I might use or may order a custom / modular one.
When people say I can't it just makes me want to do it more.

I don't doubt that you can, but it's alarming that you were unaware that different circuits use different gauge wires. That little bit of information could be the difference in your project working perfect, or your truck catching fire.
When I redo any kind of wiring in older vehicles I like to increase the wire gauge by one. Meaning if a circuit uses say 22 gauge wire, I like to step it up to 20 gauge just to be on the ultimate safe side.

Well, the thread title is to add a fuse block, not to replace it. Then in yer first post you stated "switching over the blade fuses".
I suggest perusing the JY for an OEM underhood load center like from a Taurus or yes, Jeep. ...Low-buck, adaptable, and usually weather sealed. plus they come with a Megafuse, relays, and such.
Ah I can see how that can get confused. Yes I am replacing the factory fuse block. I opted for a painless block just couldn't find what I liked here in the u.s.a. everything is overseas.
Thanks for all your help, I ordered #4 wire just to be safe
I think #4 is gonna be too large of diameter in there behind a fuse panel to bend around the corner out thru the grommet. Even for splicing it will be hard to find connectors to go from #4 to your existing wiring. Also, I try to match colors as best as I can so if there is a problem in the future...
