Heater Core hose routing?

Can someone help me with the correct routing of these heater core hoses?
Where does the right and left hose go?
74 F250 4X4

no A/C

Thanks
Marc

one should go to a fitting right behind your thermostat atop the intake manifold, the other comes from the passenger side of the water pump. doesnt matter which but i always run the water pump to the outer most i/o on the core and the innermost to the intake, they look best so they dont cross each other.

here is a pic of mine you can see them

So it doesn't matter which side of the heater core?
The coolant can flow either way in the heater core?

Sorry for the dumb newbie questions.

Thanks
Marc

On a Bump but you get the idea. The printing on the heater hose should be readable, versus upside down, when standing next to the right front fender.

Go here for the PN for a 90° intake manifold fitting: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post13559606

No it doesn't matter. There isn't an in/out on the heater core.
