My left headlight ( if your facing the hood ) went out. Check the bulb and it's good... Check fuse and it's good all connections are good.. Don't know where to start troubleshooting from there
Get yourself a 12v test light and see if you have power in the bulb socket. If you don't then check the wires going into the socket. If not you'll just have to keep probing the wires. The pass. side feeds off the driver side so since you have driver side it will be between them. The left and right side of a vehicle is determined as your sitting in the drivers seat. Not as you're "looking at it".
while probing the wires at the socket, test both the high and low beam wires to determine if you just lost low or high beam power supply.
it could be a failing switch or switch harness.
it would be a good time to install headlight relays,a new switch and harness if required and simply cap off the wires on the pass side, like i did on both my trucks.connect both headlights together and run the devoted lines over across the front of the truck using short wires.i ran them under the battery crossover cable.this way here, you'll take the stress off the headlight switch and draw power directly off the batteries.the switch will simply be telling relays to open/close.
