Exclamation Which wire is the ground? Replacement mirror question

Hi everybody!

We have a 1999 F350 and just bought a set of Kool Vue towing mirrors (FD66ER and FD66EL) to replace the OEM regular mirrors, but the wire colors on the Kool Vue mirrors do not match the colors of the wiring in the truck.

The new mirrors have 3 wires: Green, Purple and Yellow.

Does anyone here know which one is the GROUND?

They did not come with wire diagrams. No info at all. We've looked online and in this forum etc and others have had the same issue (with different Kool Vue mirrors) and calling Partstrain has not yielded any info either. They just sell the stuff and have no info on the wiring.

Urgent help would be appreciated... thank you!

*** EDITED TO ADD:

Seems like we've figured it out. The "green" seems to be the ground wire. We've got it working.
