'02 Escape P0303
I got a '02 Escape w/117K and a V-6. Just got a P0303 Error Code. What I have noticed, is that the engine will misfire at 2000 RPM or less, but will smooth out at 2100 & above. I installed a new COP coil on this same cylnder about a year ago. I know intermittent situations are difficult to find. What puzzles me, is that the misfire goes away with higher RPM's.
What are your thoughts...???

Consider:
leaking fuel injector ... won't be so noticeable at higher rpm
burned valve, same thing,
vacuum leak, same thing
carbon build up on the EGR, should not flow at idle, but should above
tom
