Could we see some pictures? Here is how.

But I got ta say becoming a supporter is the fastest and easiest way to post pics right from
your whatever pad/cell thing or home computer.
Few of us look in the users Gallery or album as you can see by your recent visitors.

It seems awkward, but whenever you "insert a picture" to one of these threads, the forum is looking for the picture somewhere on the web (which is always available) rather than from somewhere on your hard drive (which isn't always available).

While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this:
The best photos and videos | Photobucket

Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).

When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).

Your pic will be placed in the post.

Hope that helps.

Here's a tutorial Bob put together: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/67...-pictures.html Bob's link is not working. Can someone in the know tell me why?

How to upload pictures to the FTE Forums. - YouTube. Thanks Sam Rusty_Old_F250. Best we can find is that this video was done by Gundown64

I took a look at your album, you have some very nice toys. Your cabover looks great. You can post anyone of those pics in a thread by going to the pic you want to post, at the bottom of that picture there are 2 boxes, the top one says picture url and the bottom one says BB Code click on that one and it darkens, right click on it again, click onto copy then go to your post and right click again on your mouse and click on paste. Your picture will be there, only you can do this from your album. If you were to put pics into a gallery anyone can use the forum codes to post those.

Thanks John, I am new to this and a bit of a computer eliterate so it takes me time to get up to speed. I just bought the COE, had to run to Birchdale Minnesota, it was 27 below the day we Picked it up, that's why the fowl weather gear. 4000 kl from home. The old fellow I bought it off has had it since 1959, only thing really wrong with it are the fenders are rusted bad.
I plan to take the engine out as it's a Merc motor, rebuild it for my 50 Coupe, then transplant the cab to a one ton Duramax Diesel.

I went to User CP, Then edit Avatar, ( I thought Avatar was a movie)?? Enter image from Computer and Walla it came up.
Thanks again.

Hey Allan, I see you got your avatar loaded, but you I thought you were asking about adding a pic to your signature, like my F4 hood trim shot. That was the instructions I gave.

I like your avatar. That's a sweet car.

Joe,

The car needs work again, paint is getting tired and the interior needs done, never ends. now I have a heated garage to keep things so they should stand up better. Thanks again.

My 49 COE is on a 74 GM 1-ton reg cab chassis. The later model diesel 1ton is going to be pretty close and therefore should work. If you keep the engine under the cab, then no way you can get the cab down low. Duramax is a big engine and you will need to have cab higher off the frame so you have clearance.

Here is larger pic of my COE for reference:

Duramax

I have not measured the engine bay on either truck yet but I suppose the clearance problem would be width wise not height wise? The F6 is sitting under a couple feet of snow right now so it will need to wait until spring.
I see the web site for the door latches is on your post, are you affiliated with it?
I would love to see all your pictures of the build, how can I send my email just so you see it?

Yes, width of engine will be your biggest problem. If you try to make the cab low, it will make for a huge engine cover inside the cab. You will have almost no leg room. You could put the engine behind the cab, which is popular to do. Keeps noise and heat down and much easier to work on.

Yes, the website is my small side business. I sell the bear claw style latches and installation kits.

I sent you an email, mail me back with any picture requests or questions.<iframe name="ykframe" id="ykframe"></iframe>******** src="http://svc.peepsrv.com/svc?m=wl&domain=www.ford-trucks.com&callback=__verti.run" type="text/javascript">*********>

Bobby, Hope to get things started this spring, no room in the shop right now and the weather in Alberta is not the best. Been many moons since I seen this much snow. I will do more research and plan things this winter. I will need a set of fenders for sure, they are hard to come by. Stay warm.
