I don't have the 'headlight on' buzzer, only 'key in ignition' and 'seatbelt', but I believe the connector is wired for all options. I read through the 'Buzzer' thread in the 'How To' or 'FAQ'(can't remember which one) section to check.
My question which wasn't answered by reading that thread is: Can I swap the wires to enable the 'headlights on' function? That is the only function I want, so any of the other functions can be replaced. Or do I need to swap the buzzer to the 7-pin?
Thanks for reading and any help is much appreciated.
I would just swap the buzzer, then unplug the connector at the driver's seat belt if you want to keep the seatbelt buzzer from buzzing. I haven't looked at the wiring diagrams in quite some time so don't know the answer to your question about swapping wires....
That would mean acquiring a different buzzer though... I'll have a play with the wires and see what I can come up with, before I order one or go scavenging. Surely I can't do any harm? I'll report back if with the results. Thanks for your opinion though Chris.
