Whatever this truck is or started out as I can say one thing for certain: I drove it to work two days ago (in Detroit) in very cold weather and a lot of snow. This is the first 4x4 vehicle I've ever driven in snow and it was fantastic. I tried to "spin" it out taking several corners but I couldn't. The 4 WD works great and it's a great truck. I didn't want to drive it in the snow but I had no choice with the below zero temps and the snow we got over the weekend.

Hey, having a vehicle with good capability could be a life saver during a snowy winter! drive it, and enjoy it. Just remember, you can still spin a 4x4, and braking in a panic situation isnt any better....assuming Detroit salts its roads, go to a coin op car wash regularly and dump a pocket full 'O quarters into it, and spray the heck out of everything body and chassis. Realistically, your happy with it, it looks like a darned nice truck, enjoy it!
