It sounds like a great product that actually works like it says. Ill definitely be considering this when I do my coolant flush. Would it be a good idea to add a coolant filter to the system?
The MSDS for it shows it to be 66-70 percent ethylene glycol which is the primary ingredient in green coolant, less than 2 percent "proprietary corrosion inhibitor package", and the remainder to be propylene glycol (the pink stuff for winterizing pipes) and water.
I don't think it's necessarily good or bad, but it sounds expensive for what it is. Another thought that comes to mind, and I could be completely wrong about this, is it seems a zero pressure system would be more susceptible to hydrodynamic or ultrasonic cavitation in the water jacket around the cylinder walls.

IIRC, Barney it still running a coolant filter with the Evans coolant. I remember his changing the filter when he was at my house a few years ago for a wrenching session of his truck.

Did you read this entire article (all the way to the bottom) on Dieselsite? http://www.dieselsite.com/evansnpgnp...uantities.aspx It explains its benefits and how it reduces/eliminates those problems.
I would probably be running the stuff if my truck didn't eat water pumps. On the fourth one now since the original.

dieselsite is the only place i could find a coolant filtration system and it looks well put together, but are there any other places that make a complete system?

I did read it, but it sounds like the cavitation it refers to is that caused by the boiling of the water component in the coolant. It doesn't specifically mention hydrodynamic or ultrasonic cavitation anywhere. Like I said, I could be completely wrong about it, but I felt it was worth mentioning as a possibility. I do have a tendency to over think things but that's part of being a compulsive perfectionist, I guess . . .
