Okay so my 04 f250 6.0 will run a little rough on a cold start. It sounds as if it bogs down a little then catches back to idle. Could it be my injectors ??
It could be your injectors or your FICM. If you don't know how to Google search "test FICM" and check to see if it gets 45 volts or more when you start cold, at idle, and around 2,000 RPM.
Other things can cause hard start or rough idle as well. Do you have access to a scanner? Not one from auto zone ect. ..
Got Gauges, like a Scan Gauge II , dash boss, To read live data, if your Ficm is failing you don't want to see anything below 45v How old is the set of Batteries?

i dont have a scan tool. i have a edge tuner and thats it. the batteries are new.2013
Load test one at a time anyway Alt. Could be going out
its not the alt. it starts up fine its just right after it turns over and 5 seconds later it bogs down for about a few minutes then picks back up to idle
just got the truck 2 weeks ago im about to change all fluids. not sure whats in there now
If you can squeeze it I would get a scan Gauge II and keep it in the truck to monitor FICM, Batteries, Alt, and a bunch of sensers. you can get T-6 Rottella or Delo at walmart even the OEM oil Filter too and change the oil your self ( Note don't use aftermarket oil filters and cap) not even for Fuel

i just got the oil and filter and picking up fuel filters tomorrow. where could i get the scan guage?
Auto Zone, but you can find some great deals online too, Other Gauges would be torx app, dash boss I know I'm missing some what weight Oil and did you get OEM filters?
Use only OEM filters and get a monitoring system. Torque Pro app for Android costs $5 and an OBD II adapter runs about $25 through Amazon. Dashboss for Apple is about the same as Scanguage but does quite a bit more.
