Funny electrical problem -- suggestions?

Funny electrical problem -- suggestions?
When I turn on my right blinker, my torque convertor unlocks. I have verified that all of my blinkers light up including the lighted arrow on the dash. Any ideas of other places to look for this?
This is on a 1991 F150, 5.7L, E4OD, white, vinl seats, . . . . .

check the other brake light, if the left brake light is bad the computer see's a brake application and unlocks the torque converter. Doesn't the speed control also shut down on right turn signal?

Overdrive off is on the dash on my 91. No third brake light on a 91 either. Sure enough, the brake light on the other side was burned out.
