I bought this kit from advance National Ball Bearing 514003: Shop the best Wheel Bearing - Rear at Advance Auto Parts

Comes with bearing and collar, the bearing looks right but the collar is to small. Did not get the seals yet. I really need get the truck going do you know a brick and mortar where I can get the correct parts from? I checked napa with no luck.

I will be checking online brick and mortar based on your info. Please bear with first time doing the rear bearings.

This what I have found out from truck numbers;

31 spline, 3.3m could find out if it was 3300lbs axle or 3600lbs chart did not say but base on your info guess it's a 3600lbs. Going to get the collar out of the axle, already have bearing and seal off with cutting. I will check in a little bit.

What about the collar that is too small? O.D. would make no difference.

O.D. is smaller by almost a 1/4 inch but the I.D. seems to be correct, collar it's is also thinner. Will this still work? Thanks for the quick reply! Going outside to get the collar out I'll check back in a few.

Looked at collar again and O.D. is smaller but thickness is the same. old one is built different then the new. Looks more like a washer with a smaller washer set on top, like a lip.

I personally have never mounted one. Only sold a bunch in my career. As far as I know O.D. and thickness won't matter. The collar is just a retainer as far as I know. No seal rides on it etc. The original number B9AZ1180B was 2 3/8" O.D. Ford replaced that number by C9AZ1180A. Which was 2 7/16" O.D. Ford does not list the thichness'.

I think these will work just built different. All have to do is get seals and get it back together. Passenger bearing and seal where so bad I'am going to change out the diff. fluid to be safe. Kind of worried about diff. bearing on drivers since the wheel bearing was so bad. Hope I don't to change them out.

I'am happy these bearing are going to work. B & N store's where charging 100.00 to 150.00 for other bearings for 3600 lbs axle and a week to get in.

Thanks for all the help!
