stallin' when crawlin
I'm having a problem that's cropping up once in a while.
The idle speed in my truck is pretty much normal for it's age (150k):
1500 when cold
1000 when driving while cold, occasional surging but only when it's like 10 degree out.
600 when warm
The problem only happens when the truck is fully warmed up and I turn the a/c on. The idle will usually kick up and keep it at 600 when the compressor is on, but sometimes and only when stopping, the engine will go down to 400 and die. Starts right back up and idles at 600, even with the compressor running goes along fine for a bit and then the same thing, almost like the power steering takes a few too many rpms off the idle and the engine can't quite keep up with the load. It's not too
, because I expect it.I'm wondering if there is a base idle adjustment, which would take care of the problem because the idle speed seems like it's just a _little_ too low or possibly the idle kicker is bad (if it has one).
I don't think it's the oxy sensor because it runs fine other than that.
