MSD distributor makes noise?

MSD distributor makes noise?
I have recently installed an MSD distributor. When the engine is running I hears tapping that is similar to a loose screw bouncing around. I know I did not have this sound with the old distributor, but do not know if it started sometime after the MSD was installed. I just want to make sure that the MSD dists don'e make noise like this. Anybody got one? I'm just trying to avoid swapping to the old one to make sure.
