Crossing the rockies
I have to cross the rockies for the first time in a little over a week in my 7.3 and wanted to know what egts I need to watch out for? On a hard pull unloaded the highest I've ever gotten is about 1100 degrees and that's going just under 100 mph lol. Not towing anything, just a 1000 pound toolbox in the bed for work.

what state are you going through. I'm in Colorado and regularly go from the plains to the mountains over the Continental Divide and over Vail Pass. My truck regularly stays between 8-9 and it tops just over 1k on the big hills,
