patience is key

So I was filling up my ex from E lastnight and a girl in a small car pulls in behind me, fills up and gets in her car. But she could not wait. I had 10 gallons to go. So she backed up and smashed the pole at the end of the island then sped off (im guessing from embarrasment)

It's all believable to me.

I pity the fool that gets behind me at the pump when I'm almost empty.

I tell them; "it's going to be a while, I have a big tank."

I was filling up the boss's dodge the other day, a silver v10 ex pulls in on the other side. As he's filling, I made the comment "that 44 gallon tank sure takes awhile don't it" with a smile.

If it was one of ya'll, then HI!

It can get annoying to sit there waiting patiently and have like 2 or 3 cars come in and go out on the other side of the pump.
If someone pulls up behind me and I just started, I do tend to let em know it will be a while.

the best is when the pump shuts off at $100 you get out and start the pump all over again...the reaction is priceless!

I definitely second that. I had a gas station that made me swipe 3 times once. This dude didn't take my warning and got really pissed on the 3rd swipe. Lmao

I hope you aren't one of those people that get back in your vehicle while its fueling since you have the v10!

While fueling up the other night, pump shut down at $95 (diesel). Went to swipe again, pump said "see cashier". I went inside, the lady said that their system had the debit card flagged as "frequent use" and that she could either do a prepay or hang on to the card and swipe it instore after I finished fueling.

doesn't matter what i'm driving i get back in.

do you remember where i live?! its freaking cold 6 months out of the year (i also leave it running fueling up like everyone else here too) and the other half i'm not going to stand around twiddling my thumbs well fueling up when i could be sitting my happy *** in a seat, pumps are decently quick but not that quick. if its empty its a good 15-20min process with two swipes..ect to fill up 40 gallons and i'm a lazy person the less movement and physical effort i need to use the better

I don't have any plastic, I pay for everything with cash, so it is extra special to me when I am done filling up and I go inside and waste time.

Thankfully we don't normally have lines at the pumps. Plenty of pumps to go around and none of that pre pay crap!
