how much coolant in prim/second

Our 6.7 motors take 9 gallons antifreeze 50/50. How much of it is used in primary and secondary?

My manual says 41.8 quarts (10.45 gallons). Per manual, be sure to use distilled water.

No, that is primary only. On the right side, there is another drain **** for the secondary.

So did I read that right 27 quarts in the primary and 12 in the secondary? My radiator is leaking and I am just going to replace it but I want to have enough coolant on hand once i do it and its 1899 a gallon so I want to have enough here? Could someone clairify that for me please?

The owners manual will have the correct amount.

I have not looked it up but that is where I would go to for common replacement fluids and capacity.

Oh, I see. I think you will have to break open the secondary at any rate to change the radiator out.

I think they only thing you can away without touching is the A/C condenser and the other 1/2 dz radiators.

Do some searching on youtube. You maybe able to find a video of the procedure and I'll bet that will give you some hints.
