I have no idea on a Lightning (F-150), on a Ranger it is mounted
in the firewall just slightly off-center on the passenger's side.
I'm sure there will be somebody on this site that can tell you for
sure, and even give you the wire color that goes from the PCM
to the instrument panel.
Just curious, why would you want to disable your tachometer???

Disabling the tachometer
The PCM is located behind and just above the kick pannel on the passenger side.
Now the real question, why in the hell would you want to disable the tachometer????????.
