Rocker panel rust!

....Anyone find a way to combat the rust on the lower panels? I cut out the rust part so that way the sand and gunk wont have a place to just "sit there" and I painted it up with Por15, but I'm just reaching out to see what eveyone else has done. I just made my final payment on a loan for the truck and I wouldnt trade her for the world! 136k on it and she still runs great!

If you are handy with tin snips and fiberglass make yourself a replica that will outlast the factory. Cut out all the rust back to solid panel form your replacement and either preferably mig weld in place or if you like sanding pop rivet in place and place your fiberglass strips as smooth as possible sand to your perfection level and paint. good luck I have a little of that awesome work not... to do myself shortly
