I have a 93 F-150 single cab, long bed pickup. It has the dual fuel tanks and I was wondering if anybody knew what size (gal.) the front and rear tanks are. I bought the truck used, and it didnt have the owners manual. Any help is appreciated.
hey man just call Ford with the 800 number. That's what I did to get my fuel tank size mine didn't come with a manual either. The number is 1-800-392-3673.
Make sure you have your VIN, name, mileage, and any vehicle info on your hands when you call, as they will ask you for it when you call which is annoying, but they are very nice to me.
You might try http://www.fordvehicles.com for a manual....You can register vehicle with Ford, and then do a search for owners manual...It seems to say that you can download a PDF version off there for some vehicles, unfortunately I cannot tell for you since it requires a VIN code....But, you can go there and give it a whirl...FYI, its not available for my 1987 F150, so it may be something offerred only on the very newest trucks...
Otherwise,
Good luck!
PS. For a quick way to find out your capacity, call the dealer.....they are usually pretty good about checking things for me here in Atlanta....
You also could measure the tanks. It is 231 cubic inches per gallon. This will get you in the ball park anyway.
