So I am in the middle of teardown, I get the rad support off and I can't seem to figure out how these bushings come off. Am I missing something? I have one that is intact and one with all the rubber gone.
Here is what a new one looks like. The bottom just presses up into the top and when you tighten the bolt it then becomes really hard to separate with years of use and rust.
To remove my old ones I removed the bolt from the top as you have done, and then screwed it back up through the bottom a few turns and then put a round chisel down through the top and pounded with a five pound sledge for a good long time. I still had one that wouldn't come apart and I had to cut it off with a sawzall.
The pics really help. I guess I'll just beat the crap out of them to try to get some movement out of them. Where did you get your replacements? Are they OEM?
I got the new bushings for the cab and radiator support from LMC. I think they are pretty close to OEM, not cheap though. If you can get the old ones apart you can get just the bushings and reuse the hardware and it should be cheaper.
