What fluid should I get to top off the tranny? Its low at least 4 quarts since I took the old radiator and cooler out. It was changed out 6 months ago or a little longer. I usualy use type F I believe but someone told me today if its been rebuilt then I shouldn't use type F....
Idk if its been rebuilt. the torque converter is baby ford blue? Guy said stock they weren't painted... so idk if that means its been rebuilt. Either way what fluid should I run?

Yes you are correct. The OEM torque converters were not painted at all, however, I don't think that this warrants it being rebuilt. It could be that someone saw newer torque converters and how they were painted and decided to freshen up the tranny with some elbow grease and some paint when they had it out of the truck.

I would agree with this because I do not think that the tranny has been rebuilt, but Type F fluid requires friction modifier added to it (info taken from Ken Collins who does the Bad Shoe Production Rebuild Videos.. C6, C4, AOD, 9" rear end, etc...)

I would tend to disagree with this because Type F fluid requires friction modifiers to be added to the mixture when using Type F fluid (Ken Collins reference). There are much better ATF's out there since the birth of synthetics oils, etc... When fully rebuilding a transmission, I wouldn't recommend someone go anywhere near Type F.
I would use the same thing that K. Collins recommends in his video on rebuilding the C6 (Dextron ATF or Mercon ATF) as they do not require friction modifiers (K. Collins recommends Mercon Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)).
*****NOTE***** Unless you are fully tearing down the transmission, DO NOT USE Mercon ATF. You cannot mix Mercon/Dextron with Type F.
Therefore, the final answer is.... Use Type F since we don't know if it's been rebuilt. You must also add friction modifier to the mixture of ATF when topping up your transmission!
