Tranny trade?
I have a buddy with a '79 Bronco (auto) and a '79 f150 parts truck - both with 351's in them. I have an '82 / 300-6 4spd man. , and a '84 parts Bronco - 351 auto. He wants the C6 auto tranny out of my parter (w/ driveshafts - if needed) and has offered the manual 4 spd & transfer case out of his parter for trade. Will we both be able to use the respective tranny's?
'84 C6 into '79 - should work?
'79 4spd manual/ transfer case (351) into '82 300-6 w/4spd man. - maybe?
I don't NEED an extra tranny - he REALLY does.

79 should be a 351m and has a different bellhousing bolt pattern than 300 and 351w that is used after 82. The bellhousing is not removeable on a C6. The 4sp can be used with a different bellhousing.
