I have a 2012 F 350 with after market farm bed. My question is in regard to the fuse that controls the brake pin and 12 volt power pin. Where is it located? The manual is somewhat confusing. All functions of the other pins work fine left turn, right turn, etc.
That is the problem. I have checked the manual. It lists different fuses that ere labeled for different aspects of the trailer brake controller. Some say tbc/left turn or tbc right turn and tbc brake light but none list what actually engages the electric brakes to engage. All lights work on the trailer just not the brakes, this pin gets no juice when I test it. The same for the constant 12v pin. They must be on the same fuse but it is not listed???

Mine did the same thing. Sometimes the brakes worked, sometimes they didnt, but the accessory lights always worked.
Check to make sure you are getting voltage at your brake controller connector under your dash (Black Wire). If you do, then press the brake pedal and check voltage at the electrical brake pin (Blue Wire). If you have the first and not the second, its your controller.
On my truck, I had good voltage to the controller but wasnt getting any readings when checking the voltage through the elctrical brake pin on the downside of the controller when the brake pedal was depressed .... faulty brake controller.
