I have only dealt with them once. A couple of years ago I was pricing the kits to repair my steering wheel when they ran a deal on steering wheels on eBay for $99.

Mid-Fifties has a sister company in Franklin Indiana and for some reason I am brain dead and can't think of their name but maybe they would drop ship for free and you pick them up there, they deal in 48-52 parts, Garry----not really brain dead, just OLD.

I found out a little more about Rock Valley. They are the suppliers for Carpenter, Obsolete and Classic, Classic Haulers and others. Candie at Classic haulers made me the best deal and has provided great service in the past so they got the order and are shipping my Christmas present.

Chuck...I think Homade is thinking of Classic Haulers. They are the 48-52 version of Mid-Fifty. They are excellent and very helpful. I went with new steel running boards. I did paint them with some bedliner paint (well...DTM epoxy primer followed by the black Herculiner bed paint).

The fit was great. I did put in some silicone rubber between the fenders and the running boards to prevent chafing....those parts all move with respect to one another.

Here's a couple of pics to get you thinking. Wait a minute....I think you're already thinking...
