im am going to be lifting my 95' f250 4x4 7.3 powerstroke....when I put the lift blocks and strut/shocks on and its lifted and everything ...is there any problems that I should be aware of ...cause my friend said that this guy did a 6inch lift on his truck and later on his CV axles messed up and stuff....any ideas????
I don't know its what my friends said to me.... it didn't make since but will it mess my truck up with any kinda of lift????? and what do I have to do and the steps just to be sure I do it right?????
TTBs can be lifted, but you might want to do a D60 conversion first. I lifted my F250 when it had the ttb and it was sort of ok. No matter what I did before or after the lift it ate tires. Did a D60 conversion and WOW! Now I have a good driving truck. I haven't changed the front springs to 350 springs yet but you do want to do that. It rides rough on the 250 springs. There won't be much price difference to do the convert with good used parts compared to lifting the ttb, and it's a heck of a lot easier!
