Not really if you get a lifetime warranty I got a set from Auto zone 10 yrs ago and they have held up good main thing is if you grease your ball joints every 3 to 4000 miles they will last a lot longer install 90 degree grease fitting on the upper ball joints so you can grease them also jacking upthe wheels when greasing ball joints makes them take grease better. The ones I got from Auto zone had a lifetime warranty but Auto zone may not be offering a lifetime warranty anymore .A lot of parts yrs ago they gave a lifetime warranty on they discontinued I think they were loosing money found out people were keeping there trucks longer

yes, they should be greased at every oil change.

a lifetime warranty is great, but you still have to get under there to re & re the worn ones. i would go for the better quality.

If its a 4x4 check the wheel joints(u joints) while you are in there. They should move freely with no play, check your wheel bearings also for pitting and discoloration. And others have said grease, grease and grease! You can't believe what a difference this makes in the longevity of parts.

+1 Moog

To know what else to replace, we need to know what truck you have.

+1 Moog all the way.

If its 4x4, is bite the bullet and do the u-joints now if they are originals.

front axle seals rarely leak and replacing them is a major job.

OK, it's 2wd.

I have never owned an I-beam front end, but I assume there are bushings involved. What about his axle pivot bushings and any radius arm bushings?
