Installed my new bluespring upgrade today........when I started my truck after cycling the key a couple of times it started fine but the check engine light wouldn't go off, so I run the scan tool and it showed a PO113, I cleared the code the light went off and all seems well. My question is does anyone know what the code is for? or can anyone point me in the right direction for the codes? Thanks for any help. I might add that I did remove my air cleaner assembly to do the upgrade and reinstalled it and double checked the connections that I unplugged to do the swap. Also the tuck that I did this on is the truck in my sig.
Ok, I did a search after my OP (that's how I roll, lol I know, I know but I am a slow learner), and this is what I found...........P0113 - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor 1 Circuit High. Can anyone tell me the possible cause for this and if just unplugging it when I removed the air cleaner assembly and reinstalling it and plugging it back in would have caused this? As I stated in my OP I found the code with my SGII and cleared it and have since driven the truck about 70 miles and it seem fine. PS I also drove the truck about 5 miles with the check engine light on before the scan/clear and it ran fine then too.
Its continuous monitor so it would already turn back on if you really had a Problem Unless its an Intermittened problem
Thanks Benny, I did remove and reconnect the wires that I had to remove to do the other work so maybe I just didn't get a good connection the first time. I have run it some since this happened and it hasn't came back so I just watch it.
