Power Steering Grunt
I have a 1998 Ford Explorer and it makes an annoying grunting sound on low speed turns. I have done some reseach and others have had the same problem. From what i hear many people have had luck changing the PS fluid to valvoline synthetic. So i tried searching and i can't find anything on how to drain the PS fluid or the capacity of the system. I don't want to buy a shop manual, since i don't usually work on my cars. Although, i don't want to take it to a jiffy lube type place, cause i have had bad exprience in the past. I was wondering if someone could tell me what is the best/easiest way to drain the PS fluid and what is the capicity of the system.
