Facebook question
I'll be the first to admit I am a total Facebook goober.
I started a page several months ago because everyone said I should.
So the current issue: If I go to look up someone else's facebook page, I can't, I only have access to my page. If I log out, it takes me to a login screen and I don't have access to anything. If I log in I can only access my page.
Anybody have any pointers how to navigate that god for saken site?

Jim - You need to add them as friends first, then you can view their page. I will look you up and send a request. After that you should be able to view my info.
**Edit** Apparently you can't friend a business page, you can only like it. What is it specifically that you're looking to accomplish by looking at peoples page? Do you have a personal FB Account set up, or just a business one?

I only have a business page.
There was something I was told to see on someone else's page and was told to 'search' their name to go there, but I can't.

So you search a name, you can see the person that want to view, but when you click it there is little to no information you can view?
Since I don't have a business page I'm sort of lost. You can try making a personal page, and it should work just fine. Perhaps somebody with a business page will chime in and help.

I have no experience with a business page but that may be your issue. I dont know if the functionality is all the same there for communicating.

I'm no help as far as the business page goes either (I only have a personal page and admin a couple "groups") but I did go and like your page!

I can get the list of Friends, or Like list, or whatever it's called, then go to that persons page. But I cannot search to find someone not listed.
For example, if I want to check out something on Bean's Diesel page, I have to go find them in a forum and click on a link in their signature to take me there.
Really stupid if I have to start ANOTHER page just to look for other people.
What's worse is they won't accept my Business email as valid, so I had to use my personal email. So even if I need to start another page, I then have to start another email, too. I've sent them a ton of inquires why they won't accept my business email and never heard back from anyone.

I can search for people from both my personal and business pages. I can find people that I know and those that I don't know from both pages.
It may be because you don't have a personal page.c My pages are linked, I can switch between posting as myself and posting as my business.

I think you're right Mark. It looks like the business page is designed to be linked to and used in tandem with a personal page. The business page alone doesn't give you the option to search for people or pages or anything.
