What do y'all think?
Hey guys me and my dad found this 03 EX V10 4x4 with 98K miles. Overall in good shape just wondering if you guys see anything else wrong with it by the pics. I know it is hard to tell by pics. So far in person I saw that the drivers door wind deflector is broken, the hood is faded, has scratches (not worried about scratches), and the brush guard has a few small dings (don't mind either as it would probably end up that way. I haven't gotten the chance to look under the hood but that part I know fairly well (our truck is a 02 V10 F250). Also just curious what to look for if we go back to look at it? I know the price is a bit up there but 4x4s around here sky rocket in the winter.

Many vehicles have dash covers in AZ, NM and other parts of the SW. the dash will crack from UV exposure.

Yes mecdac most people do put dash covers around here becasuse of the sun.
Phnguyk I saw that too which has me a bit worried.
So far they don't want to approve us on this vehicle so looking like we won't get which sucks. They only want to get us in a Chevy which is ok.

It looks like it is at least worth looking at in person, if you are reasonably close. Hard to tell to much on the condition other than it doesn't appear to be junk just from the dealer pics. How does their price compare to what they go for in that area?

I have seen it in person just not under the hood. It is a bit higher priced then usual but that is because it is winter right now. Plus they don't want to approve us on the ex because of how much we are willing to pay for a down payment. The banks at that price say a 07 or newer and all they have that we like are a few chevys and 1 gmc.

FWIW I just bought an 03 4x4 v10 with just over 60k out of Sioux Falls, SD. All white with brand new tires and brakes. I paid 13k. The chassis is rusty like that one, but I guess I've never seen a 10 year old vehicle without a bit of rust on the undercarriage.

Ya I have looked on craigslist they want about the same prices and they all are diesels and we don't want a diesel. Plus they usually are beat up a lot more then this one.
isellpower this 03 excursion has more rust on the frame then my 88 F150 or our 02 F250 which worries me. We are still pressing the dealership to try and approve us on this but who knows.
