I have a snap-on and it's retracting even in the cold, it's a little stiffer than normal but no issues with it going in. But remember to measure how far you need it to extend mine is about 3 feet too short, so I can't back into the driveway if I want to plug in. I'll have to make up a short 3' extension so I can use the reel and back in.
