What might be fighting ya, as far getting more responses, is that most of the "gearheads" that are after the "more power" side of their trucks, are also almost certainly going to be "into" lifts and bigger tires, etc. IOW, the two are almost mutally inclusive....
Kind of answered your question but didn't. I went from 18-19 on the hwy to 19-21. It varies week to week on my drive depending on traffic, weather, etc. I set the cruise at 70 for the trip down. Usually run faster coming home.
Some gain. I run aftermarket wheels that are 18" vs 20" stock and only a 2 1/2 inch level kit. Tire sizes are a hair smaller than factory and adjusted with tuner. 1-2 mpg improvement tuned. Didn't do it for the mileage!! I did it for the reliability!!
Really like my Spartan. As for exhaust, Thouroughbred Diesel had the 5" downpipe back Flo-Pros for $350 shipped to the house. Fitment was great and the exit angle looks perfect.
