My cousin has a '99 F250 Super Duty. Every now & then he gets in it and it won't start. He says he has gauges/instruments and can here a relay(?) click. Not the solenoid, but a relay(?). He got down on all 4's & jumped the starter with a screw driver. Got home, shut it off, and it wouldn't start again. I checked for TSB's & recalls but found nothing.
Any help on this one? He can't be the only one with this problem!
Thanks in advance,
jonny
I'll check for 12v. at the "s" terminal on the solenoid in the "start" position If I have 12v. then the solenoid's bad. Can solenoids be intermittant? It was very humid today...could that effect the solenoid?
