Are dropped spindles and dropped I-beams both available?? Anyone have advice/experience with either or both?? Which is better, easier, cheaper etc.....??? Are dropped spindles for disk brakes?? Also where are the parts available from?
Drop beams I have seen/contemplated. Not been able to locate any drop spindles though. If they are available, they would probably be for a edit conversion. Neither are hard to do, just a matter of cash outlay.

One of the ProStreet owners on Slick 60's took standard I-beams and cut the ends off, then welded them on top of a stock I-beam. This creates sort of a double I-beam at the end where the wheel goes and makes the actual spindle attachment higher, thus making the truck lower.
Now, I know it sounds scary relying on a weld job to hold this together but this particular truck has the best of everything, and the weld job is flawless. A very simple solution to the problem. Wish I had pictures to show it to you.
I used DJM I-beams & a shackle kit to lower my '65, got it low man! The spindles are what will determine the disc brakes, need them from a '68 to '79 F-100/150.
