Thanks for the truck compliments! In the past, I've thought about applying with your department. My wife constantly bothers me about moving down there. She has a bunch of friends who live down there. Like I said before, we're down there once or twice every year. We went in September for about a week. I would move there, but I have so much invested up here.

Do you guys allow ride-a-longs? I would love to ride with you sometime. I'm sure it's WAY different than my Western Kansas gig. Our chases can be very scary at times. It's very flat and you can see for miles. Our Interstates are like drag strips. We HAVE to drive HEMI Chargers for that reason. We also have a lot of Redneck Patrollers, too! They drive the 4x4 trucks. LOL!

Your Welcome !!! Well one good thing about Miami-Dade Police is it is a big Department and you can move around allot and interview for the job you like Detective etc... PLUS we are the Deputies of Miami- Dade so we cover all of Miami-Dade County which really a Large County but my philosophy that I have learned throughout the years is, If you have time invested up their then STAY PUT because their is the chance you might not like the CHANGE. YES we do Ride Alongs BUT you would have to ride with a PATROL UNIT we are out of the Tacticle Section and do not do that SORRY... We are transitioning from crown vics to Chargers now too OH WELL.. Any way I LOVE YOUR TRUCK and ENJOY it, and most importantly PLEASE BE SAFE OUT THEIR..

retiredsquid thanks, mine is a 30x40 with a 12x40 lean to on the back for other stuff to be under cover. I got a deal on the carports and they are subject to code it property tax

We are almost neighbors, I live just north of Springfield Mo. I was born in Rogers and grew up in the Branson/Hollister area before joining the Army for 20 years. Nice to be retired at 38 and drawing a check.

Hang in there maybe someday?

My wife lets me have all the Ford trucks/parts/projects I want, just NO girlfriends. Fair deal in my book, cause SHE loves open headers and will get right in there on the inner fenderwell and ask "what you want removed" I say those valve covers are leaking, replace the gaskets.

Yep I love being married to her, here is HER project. Un cobble some PO front lift stuff. Drop 460, 8" lift, 44's and make that cage stay on there......and get outa her way.

More than likely, I'll retire here. The thought of moving on to another area is nice at times, but I'd probably get cold feet and back out. I'm cozy here. You stay safe, too.

LOL! Love the Mini Mags! Those babies are gold around here! We're very short on .22LR supply. I also have a Smith&Wesson M&P 15-22. Mine's the MOE Magpul edition. I love that rifle! Those are great gifts!

I think she bought it for the grandson (hes 2 1/2) and I get to use it till he is ready to start shooting, say 4 to 6 yrs old? My 11 year old other grandson is a crack shot with his cricket 22.

My wally world gets them in often and I always get a few boxes. Get'm while you can, cause when you are out of bullets, its nothing but an expensive club. lol
