Cherrystone Campground

Just got back from a week's vacation at Cherrystone on Virginia's eastern shore. I hadn't been there since I was a kid about 25+ years ago, but it was still as much fun as I remembered. My five year-old had a blast, and wants to come back every year now. Even though the crabbing and fishing aren't nearly as good as it used to be, it still beats a week at work! Anybody else ever been there? It is a great family run, family-oriented campground that seems to have been around forever (I ran into one family that has been coming every year for over 35 years!) Anyhow, I highly recommend it for a family vacation spot!

Here is a link to their rate sheet for all different types of spots (tent, trailer, cabins, equipped trailers). You can check out the rest of their website to see all the other amenities--fishing piers, paddle boats, fishing boat rentals, bike rentals, swimming pools (4!), putt-putt, game rooms, tennis courts, arts&crafts, etc etc etc.
