The donor truck's fuse box will not be fully loaded since it's a plain model. But I believe(never done it myself) that you can take just the fuse box, and load the extra wires from your loom into it. That also means you probably do not want to use the donor loom, it will not have enough wires for the extra stuff that your truck has.
I believe if you have a small set of picks and or screwdrivers. you can undo the wires from the back of the broken fuse box and put them in the new fuse box.

I see your point. How are the wires secured into the fuse box?
If I understand I need to get a fuse box cut and remove the wires and then install my wires into the box. Is this correct?
