2002 Excursion Lift
I'm planning to install a leveling kit on my 02 Excursion. I was thinking of using this kit 2.5" kit:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G782/
I'm wondering if I can run 35" tires with this kit. Has anyone else run 35" tires with a 2.5" leveling kit?
Also, was wondering if anyone has ever experienced any vibration issues with the U-joint, after doing a leveling kit?

Lotta money for a few leafs when you could pick some up at a spring shop plus it will ride rougher.

I ran 35's (315/75/16) on only 1" of front lift/leveling.
mine also rubbed the inner rear edge of the leaf springs

What leveling kit did you use? Do you remember? $99 seems like a pretty good price!

Were those on 7" wide wheels and did they wear in the middle. How did you like them?

still have those tires installed. just lifted the X 2" higher
the tires fit perfectly IMO. No wear issues that I've noticed. keep them inflated to 50 psi and seems to be good. I will be going to a 305 width next time though. the rubbing on the leaf springs if freaking annoying, but otherwise love the size
