Carb

i have a 1978 ford f150 400 6.6 motor .. i was wondering what was a good carb to use.. i want it to haul *** i have a edlebrock 4 barrel on it now but dosent seem to have much power

Well edelbrocks aren't know for their amazing throttle response, zip or tuneability, but you may have other problems if it is really a turd.

I'd run a 650cfm Vacuum secondary holley 4160 for simplicity.

Or a Street Avenger 670

Is the motor stock? The 400 is far from an "*** hauling" engine in stock form...

2wd or 4wd?
Long bed or short bed?
automatic transmission or standard?
Gearing?
Weight?
What speed, in MPH = "hauling ***"?
