The Ford owner's manual lists different coolant capacities for "Standard Cool" and "Super Cool."<br />
My F-250 has a small cooler in front of the condenser with two metal lines. One line goes back to the E4OD, the other goes to the driver's side of the radiator, and another line comes out of the rad and goes back to the trans. Is this a Super Cool?
Ehh... I wish I had measurements or knew where some were to point you in the right direction, but I don't.
I'd say if your radiator is about the width of 3 or 4 fingers then it's the super cooling unit.
You could also go to the parts store and ask for a super cool radiator, just to measure it.
Ain't the difference in capacity only a couple quarts? Just buy enough coolant for the super cooling system, and if you don't use it all, then you're good cause now you have some left over to top it off with.
