Yes Jay, I am installing the remote start myself I hope. Should be easier since it has one already but we will see.

Yeah not the best timing but I don't want to wait till spring. We may wait on the deck till spring but the rest will get done now.

As long as they are quick getting each window back in it won't be a problem. Could get breezy otherwise.

How would they pour the footings for the deck with the ground frozen?

right there with ya Jay. I hate wiring. hate it. Thought about having someone install heated seats and remote start on the escape.
Maybe Dave needs to get an installer at the shop...

That it could but the windows that are in our house now are pretty crappy and breezy themselves so it probably won't be much of a change with the windows out! haha

They only have to pour footings if the deck is attached to the house by city code. If it is a free standing deck than no footings are needed just pillow blocks.

Heated seats were not bad to do.
It still might be better to do the deck in the spring after the frost goes out.

I would probably wait as well. No sense having frost heaves.

Yeah that is most likely what will happen. I will just have them put on some temporary steps for now.

No, that sounds like a good deal to have the seats done. Seriously.
