Ahh...reminds me of my ole Girdy. She was a 68 with a full fiberglass front clip, full roll cage, a 428 BB I stuffed into her (I think she liked it), A spicer 44 limited slip I yanked outta of a Jeep wagoneer (limited slip..just add labor) and both hard and soft tops. I'll have to scare up some old pics and load'em up in an album on here. She was my company (Mountain Marine) truck for over a decade but had to let her go when we moved to New England back 97. I understand she's still roaming around up here in WA. someplace.
Sure would like to reunite with that ole girl.

Gruesome- When done with my 89 civic it will run mid 12's in the quarter mile and get 25+ mpgs for under 10k. Will not be riced out like you described earlier.
Tsopitch- weather is great here, supposed to be around 19 degrees tonight.
Hello from yakima. Is everyone having fun with the chili weather.

I must agree to a point. That being I want 24" of snow with the cold.
It helps insulate things.
Rear seat gone, seat belts gone, metal gone.... Wait, that's not good. So my floors are Fiberglass and the cargo area is rust. Awesome! I'm going to be learning to weld soon I think.
good thang to add needed skills to your repertoire ( sounds so sexy when ya say it in french...why is that..Hmmm) Dylan. BTW, this linky no worky for me either. Not sure why.

well, had my first day of attempting to install my bellowed up pipes and reinstalling the turbo and pedestal. All I can say is, "what a pain." It is mostly due to not having done it before so I keep having to figure out the tricks to it as I go along. It still seems easy compared to the work I used to do on the boat though. I'm still only half way done with install, hopefully will finish tomorrow. Good thing I took leave for the rest of the month.
Got the up pipes installed finally and finished putting everything back together in time for an afternoon test drive. Amazing how much of a difference there is when there aren't exhaust leaks anymore.
