Hello,
2005 ford expedition eddie bauer.
Question regarding the fuse panel. 1 fuse in question actually. In the pic you will see an arrow pointing to a missing 20amp fuse. I illistrated exactly what it is for in the pic as well. This was missing since i purchased the truck and i just replaced it now. Might there be any reason anyone can think of on why it was removed? Any symptoms that the truck might give off with it being removed? strange that it was taken out... The previous owner pulled a fast one on me when he removed the windshield wiper relay. The first rain, i went to put on the wipers and nothing.. Checked the fuse panel and the relay was sitting at the bottom. when i put it back in, the wipers ran nonstop and you could not shut them even with the ignition off (bad relay in the motor).. I just finally changed the motor and linkage today.. What a douche move that was by the previous owner.. It makes me suspicious with this other missing fuse..
Is the A/C compressor okay? The compressor is supposed to run in all selector switch positions except floor and heat. He might've pulled the fuse to keep the compressor from turning on.

I just put that fuse back in yesterday. However, been driving without the fuse for 2 weeks. With it out I noticed, the ac clutch seems to kick on and off every 30 seconds or so with the heat on. So from your response, that's normal except floor position. I will have to try that. I put the fuse back in yesterday and drove it a bit. It seems the same so it's a mistery at this point on why the fuse was removed. I will drive it some more and see. Thanks for that info about the ac clutch kicking on in heat mode. I was almost certain there was an issue..
With that fuse out, you should have had a check engine light staring you in the face (unless he removed that, too).
No check engine light was on at all. I was thinking the same thing.. The light works because i did a seafoam treatment last week and when i disconnected the brake booster line, it came on..
