missing on 4 cylinders??

missing on 4 cylinders??
My '95 PSD is missing on all 4 cylinders on the drivers side. My mechanic is not sure why yet. Has anyone else had a problemn like this? He said he had one other ( '00) It was a plug come loose under the valve cover. Everthing looks tight as far as connections on mine. Any suggestions, This truck has 153k on it and is still a great truck, I hope it is nothing serious.

Found out what happened. The connection was shorting out due to heat. From what I understand from the mechanic the glowplug wire had gotten hot and caused the harness to short out. He replaced all of the wiring and one glow plug. Cost about $300 but all in all this truck hasn't given me much trouble. 153k and still kickin'. Runs great now! About the only thing we have replaced or had go out are water pumps (3) one starter at 150k, batteries (after 6 years!) and on our 4th set of tires.
