Ford must be doing something right with the diesels. I just got back from an old friend's shop and was surprised to hear him and another mechanic tell me that the F-250 and F-350 PSD would be their truck of choice right now. Now understand, these guys work on ch*vy's for a living and really have no love for Ford whatsoever. In fact, every time I drop by to say hello in my Ranger I have to duck and weave in order to avoid all the insults being hurled my way. It usually takes about 15 minutes of me taking a verbal beating (it's their turf ) before I can start picking their brains (it's worth the tradeoff...these guys are really good at what they do).
It's noteworthy that I didn't ask for their opinion(s) on the PSD's....they gave 'em to me pretty much unsolicited. To be honest, I don't really know a heck of a lot about these engines myself. So I would think that this is a pretty good endorsement for the PSD.
Well of course the Poewer Stroke Diesel's are the Best right now they have the most torque and Horse Power going, but the copotiotion I think from Dodge is right there with them
